Tom’s Hidden Garden – Columnists

Located in Bonnybridge, Central Scotland is a small garden with three distinct rooms: a traditional front garden, a container and pot garden to the side, and a hidden cottage style back garden. With over 630 different plants, 200 containers, and 30 hanging baskets, Tom Williamson has been developing the garden over the last 35 years, working with David Gallacher over the last 10 to create its unique look.

Tom is a keen gardener and gardens in his own style, planting where he thinks a plant will be happy.

David is a time-served gardener in commercial gardens and landscaping. Semi-retired now, he looks after Tom’s garden with Tom.

In a regular column for Scotland Grows magazine, Tom and David will unlock the secrets of their garden and their success with plants. You can also find them hanging out in ‘Tom’s Hidden Garden’ Facebook Group.
